 I agree with you.   Looks like there is no checklist out there for this.

I'll have to check later, but I think the red was the "base" set. I will check my facts later tonight.

Vroomed is correct.   The red is the base set and they are all sequentially numbered.

I think this (http://www.tradingcarddb.com/ViewCard.cfm/sid/5445/cid/1236312/1997-98-Pinnacle-Certified-112-Adam-Deadmarsh) is the Base-Card?

Your missing one major part to the mystery it is actually the base set for Pinnacle TOTALLY Certified, its a step higher than just the Certified. It is nothing more than a bunch of parallel sets of regular Certified with all cards being harder to get. If that makes any sense. I never double checked but I think the players mirror the certified set's checklist.
