 The great thing about basketball card action shots is that you never know who is lurking in the background.  For instance  in this 1986-87 Fleer Mark Eaton card, you have Kareem Abdul-Jabbar right in there.   There are a great many cards in which stars are in the background of common cards.

A lot of the late 80s cards seem to have Los Angeles players on them. This topic was widely discussed in an issue of Beckett magazine back in the early to mid 90s. 

I actually collect any card that has Jordan or any Houston Rocket in the background. 

On a side note... never seen a photo of Mark Eaton without the beard.

I try to avoid that myself, Jordan has more than enough cards by himself.

Main exception is the '90-'91 Hoops of Sam Vincent that shows MJ wearing a #12 jersey.
