I know this is not an identification issue, but I wanted to show a pic as to the question. So we were one of the luck y ones to win Topps' National Baseball Card Day Giveaway, winning an autographed card (randomly chosen who you would get) related to the promotion. We got the card, and I am not a fan of the plastic holders (just ackward to store), but my question is since it has the Topps sticker on it, would you leave it as is?? How would we list it in the database?? I am up for suggestions.

No, I wouldn't leave it as is. That's just the way they ship the card. It's not any form of authenicating seal. The card already has certification printed on it. If I wanted to keep it and protect it, I'd put it in a screwdown or snap case.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Agreed, submit the pics above to the 'packaging' section of the set listing, then take the card out of the toploader, submit clean scans for the card, then store it in your holder of choice.

Agree that the Topps sticker means nothing. That circle sticker however is an authentication sticker. Is it affixed to the card? If it's not I would probably keep the card in the holder to go along with the sticker.
I'm not sure how to list it in the database. Although this was different than the National Baseball Card Day cards that were given out, perhaps it should be listed under that promo as a parallel. Do you know what other kind of cards Topps gave out?

Depends, if I collected the player, I'd take it out of that and put it in a brand new penny sleeve, and new top-loader.
If I was going to sell or trade it, leave it as Topps sent it.

I cannot tell how many cards were given out. The picture that Topps posted shows 16, but there are duplicates in the pictures, so not absolutely sure. I will do some digging around to see if these were only promos or what.

This card would be a candidate for integration into my 2016 Topps set binder pages next to the M.Machado base card.
