Looking for info on this 1988 OPC Sticker of Don Mattingly. The one I have as shown in my image scans shows the back of the sticker as being blank. The one shown in the data base has a double image of 2 different players as the back side of the sticker. I tried to find some info in the Beckett Baseball annual price guide on this issue but as usual it was useless with that rag (I just don't have much use for the beckett).

Yours is blank on the back because the album stickers have been removed.

So what you are saying is the card/sticker is actually two fold and the one I have would be classified as incomplete.

Some would say incomplete. Some would say that the sticker backs are their own set and it's complete as it is, and that the sticker(s) on the front just tag along for the ride, just as the backs tag along with the stickers. Neither thought is wrong, just different ways of looking at collecting.

The Mattingly shown is actually a card. It would have had a sticker on the back that would have been peeled off and placed in an album. The Mattingly would need glue applied to the back to stick it to anything.
