I know that there are millions of cards for this set around, I know I have at least 5000.
Is the above card considered a Error, variation or just a piece of junk?
I don't expect to be worth a lot of money but do I keep it or throw it away?
Thanks.. Paul..

I'd say printing error nothing of significant value to most people. However there is a market for everything and someone may have some interest.

You might want to pop that on an auction site and see where it goes. You'll probably get more than the penny they normally sell for or the 5 cents commons book at.
It is considered a printing error, just like blank backs, and would not get listed here.

In a recent Forum post, Admin listed the 1993 Topps #96 Russ Swan card that had double printing of one line on the back. I am not a ERR collector and find some errors listed as"ridiculous" but others look for every possible variation. To each his own.

I will entertain trades but please don't offer me a 1993 Dave Stieb for a Nolan Ryan rookie. I prefer player for player (at least similar era and similar stardom).

The difference between the 1993 Swan and this card - The Swan card has only one line double printed - it was in black ink, and no other black ink was double printed, more or less a set up issue (much like leaving off a position or team), not a printing issue (such as missing a color - or all colors, going through a color twice, or missing the foil stamping).

From the look on Flannery's face, I think he was staring at the back of his card too long.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

That's a full-back double print! A Padres fan would love to add that rarity to their collection. I say you do have a rare card there, BUT only specific collectors would be interested in it. You just need to find the right collector for it.
