2008-09 Upper Deck Artifacts - Redeemed

This is not so much a question about a mystery card as it is a process. In the insert set for 2008-09 Upper Deck Artifacts - Redeemed card #273 & #275 are SN999 but the SN are facing in different directions. I have never seen this before....is this common and i have never caught it before?

Just a difference in how they sent the card(s) through the stamper. No different than if a card has the back "reversed" in orientation compared to the rest of the set. No notation.
