Brief timeline of major events:
1982/83 - Started with single-player baseball sets (first set was Mike Schmidt)
1983-84 - Gets NBA license (for 3 seasons)
1988 - Gets license to do minor league sets for certain leagues
1988 - The beginning of the baseball "series" sets (Nova, etc.)
1989 - Expands MiLB league coverage and puts out "wax" MiLB product
1990 - Return to basketball with single players sets and "series" sets
1991 - Licensing tightens up and NBA and MLB licenses no longer easily available (i.e., they cost more, and prices Star out of the market)
1992 - Foray into non-sports (Hooters, Miss USA, Miss Hawaiian Tropic) and body builder sets
I stopped following in 1993, when I left the company.
