Again I think my Old-Timers has ruined my eyes, I can't find these cards in the Data Base or in Beckett.
What I can see is I have a Joe Montana and a Jerry Rice card from tne 1990-91 San Francisco 49ers that I don't know if they belong in the Data Base or not.
If they belong in the Data Base could someone enter a check list and I will enter the scans.
Thanks.. Paul...

Your fronts look like this multi-sport set. But the backs are slightly different and the Rice and Montana there (without back) are a different photo/colour.

Who knows with the unlicensed boot legs of that era. Could be they belong here or a totally different 1990-91 Statz bootleg (of which the only info I can find is the stuff on our site)

The back of the Bo Jackson cards and one of the is the same color ( purple ) as my 2 cards but the front scans on the Joe Montana and Jerry Rice cards are a different color( Yellow ) and different picture.
Thanks Again.... Paul...

1. I'm not sure the title of that set is correct. It could be STAR, or I've always had mine listed as STARZ, not sure why it would be STATS, since there are no stats on these cards and the image of a star is present.
2. What about my orphan card!?

One man's STATZ is another man's STAR. It's unlicensed Broder type crap. Feel free to rename it. When I looked at it I saw STATZ and not STAR, but now that you mention it I can see STAR too.
At the end of the day it is a turd or a polished turd but still a turd.

Please don't use Star. There was a legitamate company named Star (Star Co / Star Company / Star Int'l / Star International). This is by no means something from that company.

STATZ or STARZ, all I can see is a mess. I with my feeble old eyes see at least 3 different sets involved with the way the set is listed in the Data Base. There is the Yellow set, the Purple set and then the Gold set
I would recommend deleting the set and forgetting it or redoing the sets in the correct ways. I don't have the slightest idea how to add a set, I can add scans or add individual cards hoping I get them in the right place. I also really don't know how to go about finding the correct checklists.
I am just trying to get my cards added to the Data base so when I go my family has an idea what I have. If I find a card I can't find in the Data Base I ask whether it belong or not.
Thanks... Paul...

Looks like a lot of the internet calls them STATZ. I can see STATZ, I can also see STAR, but definitely not STARZ. To avoid confusion with the legitimate Star Co., let's stay with STATZ.
I can't believe our Cubs collector hasn't chimed in since there was a player named Jigger Statz. Heck, maybe the person that created these cards name is Statz.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.
