Do you have scans, not photos? Need to see a scan of the back.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

In 1981, Topps released team sets in association with Coke, It's listed in the database under "Food Issues"
http://www.tradingcarddb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/34055/1981-Topps-Coca-Cola-Boston-Red-Sox
For some reason, Fred Lynn isn't listed...What is the number on the card? If you give the number, someone can probably add it to the checklist...
The other possibility is that it's some tiype of promo card for those sets...

By time the Coke sets were made, he was no longer with the Sox (traded in January 1981). I got the Coke sets back then, and this card was not part of it. Would really like to see the back.

Fred Lynn was not part of the set. All 1981 Topps Coca-Cola team sets were 11-card sets (plus the title card). That's why I asked for scans of front and back.

First time post here. Maybe I can be of some help.
The Fred Lynn is a rare pre-production Coca-Cola promo that did not make the regular set. Carlton Fisk is another, as he was also traded that year. As a Fisk collector, this was a 'white whale' of mine for years. I found one on Ebay a few years ago and I posted a pic of it: http://www.tradingcarddb.com/ViewCard.cfm/sid/73817/cid/508303/1981-Coca-Cola-Team-Sets-Test-1-Carlton-Fisk-
There were also three Yankees that were promos that were not part of the issued set: Goose Gossage, Reggie Jackson, and Rick Cerone. Jackson and Gossage command a premium due to their HOF status.

Yes, you are correct. Fred Lynn was trade in 1st quarter 81 as was Fisk. I own 500 of these cards, believed to be extremely rare. I also own 40 sets of the Yankee trio..I just had Goose Gossage sign 15 of the cards. Trying to confirm if any other of the Fred Lynn cards are out there. Have been told by PWCC they had no idea the Lynn card existed.

When I picked up the Fisk card on Ebay, I remember seeing the Lynn card for sale as well. My guess is that the Fisk and Lynn were probably produced in equal numbers. I've known about it's existence for years, but have seen very, very few. I picked up the Fisk for less than $20. I've seen the Reggie sell for a bit more. So my guess is the Lynn would be a bit less, but it depends on demand, condition, etc.

Thank you DocOso. Yes the tri pack has Fisk, Lynn and Rice in it. I see Rice was also part of the 11-pack. Fritsch has 102.50 on Jackson card unsigned, 32.50 on Gossage unsigned and 22.50 on Cerone..kind of surprises me they have 139.95 on the 1981 coca cola yankee header card. Leleands has report a few of the Lyn, Fisk, Rice packs {few meaning less than 10} have sold for a few hundred per pack. Jackson cards I have are Beckett 8.5 Gossage 7.5. Need to get Lynn, fisk cards graded. again thx to everyone for your comments, they are much appreciated.
