Billy, I am sorry that RTD was so disrespectful to you with that low blow. I ignore him as he is not the type of person that I want or need in my life. I respect the military and all they have done for this country but as RTD has stated he will exercise his freedom of speech to the fullest extent no matter who he offends.
Now back to the Olympics, watching Woman's Curling and the US is getting shelled by Japan 8-1 at end 6. I am pretty sure USA will concede very soon here.

You leave for over 24 hours and WOW ............... oh how I WANT to comment but to lean over a bridge I may fall in the water. As a person from an entirely different country with a huge difference in ideals, laws and attitudes, I have learned long ago that an opinion is best kept for important discussions and not on hockey card forums about the Olys. I shall sit back and share my opinion with my wife and quietly watch the show. I will admit that throwing insults about ones personal attributes is childish and must be treated with the same attitude I would my son. But I shall leave it at that as I may upset someone.
Watching the women's hockey ..... yup Canada vs USA. What a scrappy affair, your twinsa are a nasty pair!! >( But much better than watching some of the other games. As for the upsets in the mens, no NHL = craziness.

Ranfordfan, your Canadians are taking it to the Swiss. The Leafs are leading 4-0 halfway through the 2nd and the Swiss just pulled their goalie and replaced him with Hiller. Not sure why Hiller didn't start the game for the Swiss. I think Canada is smelling that gold!

I leave and the Olympic banter dies!!!! Just watched our Canadian in the Women's Freestyle Halfpipe win gold!! Was a good show, hopefully your US girl is OK after she went for broke. Her helmet broke in half she hit so hard. I know things have not been red hot for the US as of yet but not knowing what you guys normally take in for medals makes it a bit more difficult for me to judge your atheletes so far. We are having a great showing with 18 total medals, watched both Golds tonight as we also tied the Germans in the 2 man bobsled tonight. Up next is your boys taking on the Slovaks in hockey. Good luck to you guys!!
