Frank Avruch was a local guy who did everything from radio and tv, to DJing and interviews. He is most famous for portraying Bozo the clown. He was a very popular and kind gentleman. I was hoping someone could link his name to some of the cards in this set, http://www.tradingcarddb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/148458/1994-Lime-Rock-Bozo-The-Clown

Sad to hear he passed on, but to me Bob Bell will always be Bozo The Clown. Even though I must admit Joey D'Auria was the Bozo I knew the most from my childhood. It was a shame when WGN decided to cancel the show even though by then I had outgrown it.

It's hard to tell from the images which actor is on these cards. I didn't realize there was more than one Bozo!

Judging by the Larry Harmon copyright on the cards, I would think these cards depicted the Boston Bozo which Harmon played at one point, but Arvuch played the longest. I think you could link them to either, but I think a better option would be to create a fictional character for Bozo The Clown, and link them to him. Then if we know for sure who is in each of these cards link them individually at a later date.
As for Bozo, a lot of people have played the character including Willard Scott at one point (prior to him portraying Ronald McDonald). WGN used to show a special around the holidays about the history of the Chicago version, but wikipedia has a lot of information too.

Thanks for adding those. I'm going to do some research myself.

Bob Bell was the one I will always remember as Bozo the Clown, but it is sad to see another childhood hero pass away.

I agree with Jupiter that adding Bozo is the ideal way to handle this, since the actor is always in disguise. I also associate Bob Bell with the character.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Where I live we were able to pull in two different Bozo shows, one from Flint, MI and the other from Detroit or Windsor. Im not sure if I even realized they were two different people at the time. I remember later in life seeing the Chicago one and saying that’s not Bozo.
