A while back, someone mentioned they wrote a school paper on baseball cards. Well, I did my AP Project for my Computer Science class, and just finished it up. Here it is, enjoy!

That is pretty cool that you can use your hobby for a school project, definitly makes it more entertaining.

A man has to have goals — for a day, for a lifetime — and that was mine, to have people say, "There goes Ted Williams, the greatest hitter who ever lived."

Cool project! I wrote my entire college business project on baseball cards! 100 + pages on the history, business aspect, and an analysis of whether the town I was living in at the time could support another card shop. My defense of my hypothesis and Q&A period with the review panel was supposed to last for 10 minutes and went nealy 30. This was shortly after the T206 Wagner 1st sold for over a million and the review panel was fascinated. IT is great when you can put your hobby into your homework!

Now that’s impressive! This project is for college credit though.

Couldn’t view on my phone but anyway you can work your hobby into a school project that is cool. I did some presentation on cards in junior night many years ago. I can’t imagine my collection was that great back then but the class seemed legitimately interested.

Cool project! I wish I could pull rookie cards for Ryan, Trout, Ripken and Griffey for real! Good job!
