I am stunned and saddened to let people know that a terrible accident has happened up here in Saskatchewan.... the Humboldt Broncos team bus was involved in a t-bone collision with a semi truck with several fatalities. Rumours of 15 deaths online. Horrific day for Canadian JR hockey. =(

That is terrible.  My heart goes out to all involved and their families.  Just so sad.

Very sad. I will keep them in my thoughts.

That's terrible. Considering all the travel the teams do it's really sort of a miracle that there isn't more like this, but I am thankful for that. I feel terrible for the families of those involved, as Junior players they are pretty young if I am correct. Sad day.

Kind of eerie that this team is tied to the Swift Current Broncos.

Just awoke a shot time ago and saw the same news report myself. Tragic to say the least and it must certainly be devestating for the family and communities involved as I understand the team was composed of players from several prairie locations. Reminds me of an incident some 7 years ago in the province of New Brunswick that involved the loss of 7 members of a high school basketball team on their way home from a tournament and happened only 5 minutes from getting home. Prayers go out.
