Sounds fun. I want to go to one of those in Danville, IL this summer.
If you're lucky, your team will have a set of cards like the St. Louis team:

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Vevay's next game is listed in Vevay on 4/17 at 1:00pm.Billy there schedule doesn't list the team they are playing against. So were are the Bluegrass Barons from? I am assuming Kentucky.

Pretty cool idea that I just recently heard about in the last year or so. Need to check and see if anyone does that near me.
Haven't tried to play myself since about '93, probably pass out these days if I was to try to make it to first.

Well the games (Matches) were very enjoyable except for the cold and wind.Learned some new lingo. The Blackbottom 9 are real power hitters.(Muckle or Strikers) amazes me they catch this ball (Apple,Pill,Horsehide,or Onion) with no gloves.Witnessed a few home runs (Four base),the home team loss both Matches...but didn' go down scoreless (Whitewashed) in ether match.Home teams bats (willows) were just not driving them as well as the Blackbottom 9's.
