This might be pulled from the forum but I have to have my say. I just joined a little while ago and started to enter different cards also submitted scans on cards that were not shown within the data base. I have been collecting Baseball & Hockey cards now for 65 yrs. off an on and I thought that my imput would be a help but I guess I was wrong. I submitted over 200 scans and 99% of those were accepted but now it seems that everything that I submit as a scan is being classified as LOW QUALITY, my question is why if everything before was acceptable now it is not. using the same HP scanner in fact it is only a few months old and to my eye there is no difference in my scans now than the previous weeks.

Low quality could refer to either the scan, or the condition of the card. Can you link to an example?

I think I see what is happening. I went to the Queue and looked at the hockey. The ones I see as low quality the scans have been taken while the cards are still in the pages. This causes them to be crooked, and the plastic gives the card reflections. In many I can actually see the page on and around the cards. I ran into the same problem when I first started, and a numbe of my scans were rejected due to the reflections. Placing the cards directly on the scanner without the pages will alleviate this problem.

Yes. The holder/pages are altering the images. Remove them from the pages and place directly on the scanner.
