Wow, can't believe he is actually retiring. I don't watch wrestling anymore, but I'd be lying if I said I don't still look at every ppv result to still know what's going on.
I have watched the Undertaker most of my life. He actually debuted as the character the year I was born, and I grew up watching him. How funny that he also retired the same month my son is due to be born.

As someone who was a huge fan in the mid to late nineties and early 2000s, I kinda wish it was Kane who retired him.

I've got to admit I'm shocked he lost. I kind of hoped he'd win. But I still expect him to show up at least one more time in the future. But my OMG moment? The return of the Hardy Boyz!!!

I have been a wrestling fan all my life, and even expecting it, it was still hard to say goodbye as I watched with my brother (who is younger than Undertaker's WWE career) and cousin (who I watched Undertaker debut with back in 1991 - and even having seen Mean Mark from before then) last night. A great career I was glad to see all of, and I presume the headliner for the Hall of Fame next year, and at the same time (like it or not), able to put the gears into motion for Brock vs. Reigns at WM34 next year (with Reigns slaying the Beast). Not saying I necessarily like the storyline, but atleast it is well set up.

Kudos to 'Taker, he was the real deal. I also remember him as Mean Mark Callis in NWA/WCW. I saw him live numerous times, including a casket match against Ultimate Warrior in 1991 at the Rosemont Horizon, outside Chicago and a fatal-fourway match with Kane, Dude Love, and Stone Cold in 1998 (or maybe 1999) in Tampa.

I don't know how I missed this thread originally. The Undertaker is my all-time favorite wrestler and probably always will be. However, I really think he should have retired a few years ago. I really thought he would after getting the revenge win against Brock, but I thought he should have retired before the 1st match against Lesnar. I was really happy to see the Hardy Boys return to WWE. They are my all-time favorite tag team and Matt is probably my 2nd favorite singles wrestler behind Undertaker. The Hardy's probably won't stick around too long though. As for the current crop of wrestlers, Roman Reigns is probably my favorite. The youth movement is strong in the WWE now, but so far, none of the new wrestlers from the past couple of years have impressed me a lot. I think that is part of why WWE has brought back so many wrestlers that left for TNA years ago and brought in long-time TNA wrestlers (as well as stealing talent from Ring of Honor and New Japan Wrestling).
