My favourite playoff hockey memory - Game 7 New York Islanders vs Toronto. Every game in NY had gone to overtime with NY coming out on top. TO had won their games in regulation at home. Game 7 in NY and overtime again. Finally, Lanny McDonald got a pass in the slot and rifled a shot past Billy Smith. TO had won the series, overtime in NY, as underdogs. This was in the mid-70s.

Well last night's game will not be a memory but a nightmare, kudos to you Billy for staying with it ...... and your hunch on the outcome was pretty much a given!! LOL As a lifer Oilers fan (well since about 15 I guess) I feel I have earned the right to call them stinkers and switch to American Pickers from time to time. =)

All three playoff teams from cities starting with C are the only ones eliminated so far. Coincidence or Conspiracy?

I think the "C" for the Hawks has to be CHOKE. Rough to watch!

If thats the case I'm not cheering for Choronto, Chew York, Choston, Chinnestoa or Chan Jose ....... or Chitsburgh and Chanaheim for that matter. =)
