Recently scanned a Jeff Daniels card & thought it would have been funny if he appeared on a card with Jim Carey (sic). The movie even came out in 1994 - just as Jeff's career was ending & Jim's was starting.
Also, there needs to be some "same name, different game" mash-ups like: Terry Bradshaw (NFL & MLB), Mike Tyson (MLB & boxing), Kevin Murphy (NFL, NBA ...and MST3K), et al.
In the age of slap-on sticker-autographs, let's make this happen Topps/UD/Panini!
p.s. that Tyson PID needs fixing

I think I've moved cards from the baseball PID to the boxing PID on 3 separate occasions! The problem is these "dumb" sets they market as baseball sets, but they really should be multi-sport sets. They throw boxers in the set and they autolink to the baseball player (as expected).

Same name Different game would be fun. Of course you need to watch out for those double-dipping players like Dion Sanders, and Bo Jackson who were the same person different sports. Michaal Jordan also attempted two sports.
I know of one name 3 sports 3 people Nick Johnson MLB, NHL, NBA.
Also same name same game different player. The Orioles have had 2 players at different times named Dave Johnson one of which went to to manage and lead the Nationals to their first post-season trip in 2012. Another Johnson is Randy Johnson the pitcher nicknamed "Big Unit" is the most known but there was also a 3rd baseman, plus I noticed a couple of football players Randy Johnson.
It is also interesting that there have been a few players named Michael (or "Mike") Jackson in Basketball, Baseball and Football, oh and English Football (Soccer)
I tip my hat to the Databasers who tackle trying to keep all these different names straight around here. On some thread recently a same name popped up with a baseball and football player, The football player didn't have any known cards. So sometimes the name game is kind to our name tracking databasers.

Hey CK42, are you referring to the discussion about Vic Bradford? Turns out it was one person, played football, baseball & basketball in college and pro baseball.

Robert “It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone. You count on it, rely on it to buffer the passage of time, to keep the memory of sunshine and high skies alive, and then just when the days are all twilight, when you need it most, it stops. Today, October 2, a Sunday of rain and broken branches and leaf-clogged drains and slick streets, it stopped and summer was gone.” ― A. Bartlett Giamatti robertkimble.us/tradingcards

There were multiple players named Dave Roberts in MLB. Most recent one is the current Dodger manager.
In the late 90s/early 2000s there were two pitchers named Bobby Jones. They actually were teammates in 2000 on the Mets.
