I sent Bob and back channel message. Told him, now that the College Softball Tournament is over, schools can start to contact players, BUT until she starts school in September and becomes a JR in school they can not talk to her. There is a limit on how many times they are allowed to chat with her. The tournament this weekend is one that is used for recruiting in the N E USA. They will be there looking at JR and SR not comitted but they allowed to look at anybody, Just can't say to much. BUT They can talk to coach, that is where most kids learn schools are looking at them, the coach tells them. . Alumni also comes into play. A lot of near bending rules goes on.
Bob, what gets crazy is the invites to visit campus. remember they are selling the school, Think it like her buying a used car. Do the internet work.
They can say " You Pitched great today" and "Your welcome" but they hoping she remembers a face.

“It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone. You count on it, rely on it to buffer the passage of time, to keep the memory of sunshine and high skies alive, and then just when the days are all twilight, when you need it most, it stops. Today, October 2, a Sunday of rain and broken branches and leaf-clogged drains and slick streets, it stopped and summer was gone.”
