I, too, called it. Except I had the Nats beating the Cubs. But I definitely had the Dodgers and the Astros, but see that I did not predict the winner. That's a very tough call. But I'm gonna go with the Dodgers in 7, and then feel bad for the Astros.

I stand behind my pick. Dodgers vs Rays.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

I hope the 'Stros win so you won't feel bad, V3.

You're very kind. But, alas, I already feel bad for my poor three times in a row NLCS participant Cubs.

That's not at all why you want the 'Stros to win!

I've rooted for the Astros for over 30 years, I'm hoping they win it!

I'm rooting for the Dodgers. Grandmom is 89 and from California and still a diehard Dodgers fan. Took her to a Phillies game in 2015 when they were in town. Phillies gave her a certificate for her first Phillies game and the usher took her down to the dugout area and got a ball signed by some of the Dodgers. It made her day.

Awesome story!!! It's even better that the team treated her so well.
My first MLB game was in 2005 in Cleveland with the Tigers visiting. The game got rained out by the remnants of Hurricane Katrina coming through the area. I was able to stay another day and see the game but couldn't stay for the second game of the (now) double-header. Unfortunately, the Indians lost 4-3, BUT it was my 2nd favorite catcher of all-time that won the game for the opposing team. Ivan Rodriquez hit a 2-run homer in the 7th to break a 2-2 tie. Cleveland scored one back in the ninth but not enough to win. The next year, the Tigers got spanked by my Cardinals in the WS. My first live Cardinals game was in 2013 and again the final score was 4-3. THAT TIME, my team won (the Indians are my #2 MLB team) and in a 14-inning game that lasted just over 5 hours, ending just after midnight. MLB Network ranked that specific game as #8 on the Top-10 Games of 2013 list.
I'd love to go back to either city to see another game, OR to see STL play in another city but I'll never forget either of those games. BTW, my all-time favorite catcher is Yadier Molina (of course)! He was inactive for the game I went to, but was active the next day and I couldn't get to the game.
As for 2017, I didn't expect the Astros to win against Kershaw in Game 1. But they need to win Game 2 in LA to have a decent shot at the title. I expect them to win in Houston at least once or twice. If they don't win Game 2, they better sweep in Houston. Game 1 was close and exciting and that's what I expected for this series. I just hope it stays that way!

What an incredible Game 2. I got no horse in this race, so I'm just enjoying some really exciting baseball!
