1. Hank Aaron
2. Ted Williams

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

spaz, thanks for the question. It's in a career. Hank Aaron and Ted Williams are incorrect.

I'll keep this one fairly simple and I'll phrase it as a "who am I':
I led my league in stolen bases, yet I have the fewest in my lifetime of any of the other league leaders (since 1901 and who are finished their playing careers Whit Merrifield, who led the AL this year is the only other league leader to have less is their career). In fact, 490 times, players have stolen more bases in a season than I had in my entire career. Who am I? (If you guys want to bonus it up, give year, team, and amount to lead the league, and lifetime total.)

You first sentence made me want to say Ron Fairly, but that can't be. How about Brian L Hunter?

Nope, and nope. I wasn't being punny, and there were several LL who had less lifetime SBs than Hunter.

1941, Phillies. Led with 18, had 49 total in his career. Only 3 times since 1901 was there a league leader with less than 18.
Ok, obxyankeefan, your turn. (BTW, after living in NY for 20+ years, does that obx mean "obnoxious" - like most of the yankee fans I know here? LOL! <just kidding> I know it means outer banks.)

I was just trying to think of a modern player with a short career, and his wasn't as short as I thought. I looked it up after I guessed and was surprised it happened in the 40s.
