I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Not Doerr, I know that much. He came into the league just before Williams and only played for Boston. And I think Ruth was out of baseball when Doerr started.

I think you’re right. The other was Waite Hoyt, I know that much.

Maybe we can revive this thread?
There were 4 players who played with both Bobby and Barry Bonds. Name 1.

Rick Reuschel ('81 Cubs - Bobby) ('86 Pirates - Barry)
Interesting tidbit about father and son. Barry Bonds hit a home run on every single day between April 1 and Sep. 29 during his career.... except one - Aug. 5. That’s the day his father, Bobby Bonds, homered the most.

My Autograph Collection Website Emphasis is on the 1969 Cubs. This is still a work in progress as is my collection here at TCDB. Value what you collect, don't collect for value.

That's a good one! My guess would be that all four played with Barry in Pittsburgh, but with Bobby in the 1980's (or maybe the late 70's). I don't have a name to put in for an answer right now, but I'm sure I can later if the answer isn't added before I go to bed and wake up again.
