numbered 9 of 12, not #87??

Why does the Topps Card I have that appears exactly like the one posted as # 87, not have a number on the back? Rather, it reads "9 of 12"?

NFL player Cedric Houston and the period of 2005-2007.

Quite likely that it is a Post Cereal set. Made by Topps but inserted in boxes of breakfast cereal. They were usually numbered like that (## of ##). Without more info, I can't say for sure.

It's the team set version of the card. The Team Set cards featured the exact same design as the regular issue set, but were numbered _ of 12.
