Over the weekend I began my project of scanning my Messier collection. During the long hot Arizona summer I hope to make regular progress on it. So, soon you should be seeing some of the blank spaces on his checklist pages filling in.
If anyone has any specific requests that they would like me to float to the top, let me know, otherwise I plan to scan in pretty much chronological order, with the exception being new acquisitions, which I intend to do as I get them.

Very cool! I will look forward to that, as I'm a big-time NYR fan. Also, I'm anxious to see many of Mark's cards since my own hockey collection isn't much to talk about at this point in time.

Always good to have another scanner join the fold. I love the scanning process, and there's rarely a day when I'm not working on scans of something. I don't have any specific requests, Ijust wanted to say "welcome to this side of the hobby". PS. I've been working on scanning my entire collection since 2009 and don't expect to finish until 2021 or later.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. Thanks Billy! It was actually your tutorial that gave me the necessary skills and knowledge to get going.

Have fun, I found adding my Ranford Collection to the site very rewarding, nowhere near as big as Messier but still satisfying none the less. =)

You're gonna get hooked! I'm sure you will finish faster than you think. I scanned my entire 1000+card Jimmie Johnson racing collection on here in about 3 months, but I'd take a few days off every week or two. Have fun and I'm sure you'll be happy when you get to see your collection in Gallery format.

The other fun part is to see the percentage of the cards available that now have images. Check out Shawn Burr or Martin Lapointe for what we (my family) were able to contribute here. One of these days, I'll start the daunting task of the 6 or 7 binders of Steve Yzerman!
And welcome!

Well, I am pretty much done. I have scanned in all the on-hand Messier cards I have, so going forward it will just be a matter of adding new additions. To vrooomed's point, it was fun to see the percentage go from around 17% when I began to just over 30%. Guess I'll have to start going through some of my other non-Messier cards to see if there are any I can add to the site database.

Congrats on getting them done! Time to add scans of someone else now.
