I created this other Jose Abreu, a Dominican minor league pitcher from the 1990, but while I can physically add his PID to the card listings, no cards show up for him when I click on his name.  He should have at least two cards to his name, from 1995 & 1996 Burlington sets.

Once a name is created with something in the Diff field, how does that player need to be listed in the Name field for them to connect to the proper PID?  I'm going to have the same issue with the four different players named Koji Yamamoto that played in Japan between 1969-1995.

 Nevermind, they're showing up now.  Seems I'm just impatient.

Pretty much every 1990s football set has cards listed such as Gary Anderson K or Rod Smith WR that aren't attached to either Gary Anderson or Rod Smith.  I have entered Gary Anderson K as the Alias for the kicker Anderson and Gary Anderson RB as the Alias for the running back.  This is causing the unmatched cards to match up as I go through the set validation system.  I don't know how this would work for checklists not yet uploaded, but it is working for checklists that are already in the database, in cases where the Diff is already listed as part of the player's name on the checklist.  This may or may not be helpful for your situation.  But I think it would work with new checklists.
