A bit of an odd duck but I liked his early stuff. Took my sister to his Purple Rain tour in Syracuse. ------------------------------- *Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.*

Incredibly diverse and talented musician. Incredibly diverse and talented songwriter. Incredibly diverse and talented artist overall. And from all accounts one of the nicest superstars you'd ever want to meet. If you don't own a raspberry beret, at least consider honoring his memory by wearing something purple tomorrow. --Kent

He was a brilliant guitarist, that's for sure. The women at work were in tears when they heard the news. One actually went home early. They are all wearing purple tomorrow. ------------------------------- I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Liked his music for sure, but I'm plum out of purple here, he was only 5' 2" tall ........... huh!!
