I've been updating my 2018 Want Lists and have become confused with what I find on Comc.com and what is shown on our database.
- Are the Autograph series authentic autos, why aren't they labeled as AU, and why aren't they SN?
- The Moises Alou card is shown as PR700, can someone explain what print run means?
- Why isn't the Moises Alou Millennium Mark Autograph no shown as an SN1000 on TCDB?

Ok, I don't know the specifics of this set, but I can answer #2.
"Print Run" means that the company printed a limited number of that specific card (in the case of PR700, they printed 700 copies of that card). Those cards are NOT, however, individually serial numbered. There are 700 identical cards instead of 700 cards with unique serial numers (1/700, 2/700 etc. up to 700/700).

Spot on with Print Run.
Regarding #1, my guess would be that whoever uploaded the checklist didn't add the proper AU and SN notes. Probably same for #3. Sometimes things like that are missed when uploading checklists.
However, it's possible that there's another reason someone else may know?

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

Also while I don't know these situations, and PR has been explained, I must say that a lot of time COMC has a lot of inaccuracies. In the last 2 days I've sent no less than 5 error reports to their site. They are usually quick to correct them, but since a lot of the information is submitted through points contests, a lot of people don't spend much time being accurate.

Two more questions, then:
- Those with PR700 are not technically autographs, right?
- Would the original used to make the copies generally be available in the set, too?

Yeah, they are real autographs. Print run in that case equals the amount of that card the player signed.

So, Alou signed 700 cards, but Donruss chose not too put serial numbers on them. Then the basic difference between these and the Millennium Mark are that Alou signed 1000 and Donruss marked each with a serial number. Right?

This release is a complete mess! Not TCDB's fault, but totally on Donruss. The base AU set is PR only and no numbers are stamped on them. BUT, the crazy part is that the SN'd parallels of the AU set are not numbered completely. Donruss only stamped the card number and didn't add the total number of copies after that stamped number! So the numbers could be completely skewed, and without real verification, who knows what the actual SN's are for any given AU card.
EDITTED TO SAY THIS: These are not "subsets". The AU cards are insert cards! They are not any part of the base set. Just something that irks me when people mistake a base subset for an actual insert set or vice versa.

Thanks for the info, Spaz. And sorry about the mistake in terminology. This is the deepest I've ever gotten into collecting and some of the learning curve includes terms - just see some other posts as I try to understand what is being said and how to log cards.
