Is this the set with the cartoon on the back that says "1989 Rookies I" and has rounded corners? I'm curious about the checklist because I have the Kelly & Meulens from that set. The card number for Kelly matches what is listed here, but my Meulens card is #9.

Yes, it seems to be "Rookies I..." and should be corrected because there was also a "Rookies II...". Here's an image of card #9 Velarde. Do you have a possible variation? Personally, I have grown to despise all unlicensed cards. I realized I had a second copy of the Meulens card, and it looks like there is a variation. I have a card showing #9 and a card showing #13.
