C2Cigars, you cannot agree with me! I've learned too much from reading your posts on this site. Your old Randy Quaid avi with the gradually progressing missing teeth was my favorite thing when I first joined this site.

I knew there was a reason I left the forums. Thanks for the reminder.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Well, if you take a pair of metal shears and cut the can and flatten it...

If you don't want to damage the can, you can roll it along with the sensor that is scanning it. If you get the timing down just right, it will scan perfectly.
(Just kidding, folks!)

Except the checklist for them (Topps 1971 Baseball coins) is part of the card base set. Hmm.
In THIS case I think they should be listed as packaging and if possible the "set" scanned there. Or maybe just a few scans with the first one having a comment that gives the list.

OH but of course. It is one of about a dozen that have to be plucked out every now and then, tossed about, made even more contradictory, confusing, and obscure then carefully crammed back into Pandora's Box.

I think I might be a little late to the conversation, but if the Cans are considered packaging, then would not the 1998 Donruss Preferred Baseball/Football tins be the same thing. If you look there are more tin variations it seems than card variations, but they are listed in the Inserts sections.

There is an ultra fine line between what goes on this site and what does not go on this site (either as a checklist or not at all).
The way I've come to view things, Admin has final say. I have not always agreed with Admin about certain things, but that won't stop me from contributing to this wonderful site. If a set I thought should be here isn't, it doesn't stop my world (or if a set gets posted that I think shouldn't be here).
If these are the most pressing issues you have in your life, I congratulate you. I wish they were my most pressing issues.
