Why is this set called Upper Deck Parkhurst? When Fleer Ultra, Topps Stadium Club, Topps Finest, etc isn't allowed.
UPDATE: Thank you, Admin.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

And the argument returns....all in favour....
One of the few issues I have on this site, the non-standard practice of set naming.

I was curious once about this as well. I was told that major hobby publications happened to call them Ultra, Stadium Club, and Finest since the very beginning. Same thing with Hoops. Seems to be best to have everything uniform through different sources.

It shouldn't be. The Upper Deck name appears nowhere on the card front or packaging, just the indica.
Furtheremore, Parkhurst is an established name brand that Upper Deck either bought or licensed, it should be treated just like O-Pee-Chee or Donruss, which are both listed properly. Produced by Upper Deck could go into the Release Notes section,

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. I also agree that UD should not be in the set name, just like Score should never be listed as Upper Deck Score or Panini Score. I figured I'd throw another brand in there that Billy didn't mention.

We don't call any of the Bowman sets since 1989 Topps Bowman.

There is a field for the name of the manufacturer, I don't see any reason to include that information in the set name.
