I wish I had a Target nearby. I would rather have Jeter inserts than the Bryants I will get at Walmart. 

The whole Series 1 and Series 2 thing I have never really been a fan of.  I'm excited for the new Series 1 release, but by the time Series 2 comes out, I don't care as much and am already burnt out by the design.  I wish they would just make 1 series honestly.  I am sad to see two of my favorite players (Paul Goldschmidt and Archie Bradley) don't have a series 1 card.  Hopefully I will pull an insert of one of them.  

I have debated just waiting for Topps Chrome to come out, but then you miss out on a lot of the non star players.  

I saw the back on Twitter. Stats fans, shield your eyes...they've gone Panini style, one year and career totals. They did add the Instagram account to go along with Twitter, as if anybody cares.

I don't even know what to type. I'm soooo sad that the stats are disappearing. Looking over careers and how they progressed is one of the things I really like to do with cards. Seeing what teams they've been on, as well. This is very bad news, and I'm seriously considering giving up on Topps if they keep this up.

Seriously, we must have some younger collectors here, to whom I suspect Topps is trying to appeal. Is there anyone out there who DOESN'T want the full stats on the back? Are there people who think limited stats makes for a better card? I really want to know and know why. Please share if that's your view. I want to understand...

Sigh.

Edit: actually, can anyone confirm that this is the case for all cards? The Bader card pictured, for example is of a guy who essentially has no major league stats. Still hoping?....

The thrill of the chase is usually over for me by the time series 2 and updates come out for me also. I’m sure my wantlists are heavier on those sets. Plus the Tigers are usually out of it by then and I’m already convincing myself the Lions are on their way to the Super Bowl based on their draft picks.

Bader played 32 games in STL, but only his Memphis stats are present for 2017?  It's like they aren't even trying!

Well, they've done stuff like that for years. Giving only minor league stats, but referring to how well a player did when he was called up for 20 games in September, and not including those September stats. You know about the September stats. Tell us what they are.

So the Bader kind of card, I'm willing to just accept. But if the Albert Pujols card just ignores his entire career with Saint Louis, for example, I shall be quite put out.

Agreed V3.  I'm ok with absent stats from the fancy sets. But full stats need to be on Topps, Heritage, and Archives.  Including minor leagues.

And unlike their past they couldn't even put the minor league team next to the year. All he got was a * and a "oh yeah, by the way" at the bottom. Remeber the days when minor leagua and major league stats were mixed together. I guess it's too much to hope that this just represents a mock-up and not the final deal....
