Want to sell 11,800
unopened,
uncirculated 1989
Hoops cards in
original master
carton. Should
contain Robinson
rookie, Bird,
Dumars and many
others of great
value.

That would be cool,
but does '89 Hoops
really have much
value? I'd be keen
on any King Rexs.

Oh, there's a clock
in my head and
despite what it
said, another one
on the wall. They
don't agree at
all...

89 Hoops are the
most valuable of
the Hoops
collection. I am
told that the
Robinson rookie is
worth at least $150
and the Bird about
half of that.
others around $1
and up. I am asking
$350 for the lot of
11,800 or around
$.03 a piece. buyer
pays shipping.

Don't want to burst your bubble but "most valuable of the Hoops collection" isn't saying much. If you can get $10 for David Robinson RC, take it and run. A buck for the Larry Bird, take it and run faster. mnamiot wrote: 89 Hoops are the

quick look on ebay has a PSA 10 Robinson rookie at $51 with 3 hours to go.. but other Robinson rookies going for 99c or best offer, $1.25 with 0 bids and 19 hours to go.
There is a buy it now for Byrd for $1.95 or the entire Celtics team set for $1.75.
There is also a incomplete set of 299/355 which includes jordan, bird and robinson for $2.99 with 3 hours to go.

That's what I
thought. If he has
what he says
though, I don't
think he's asking
THAT much for it.
If I had the money,
I might give $200
for it. I never was
big on basketball
cards though.

Does anyone have the "non-expanded" Checklist card from this set? I own the expanded one but wanted to see if I could obtain the other one.

Does he know for sure they're Series 1? Series 2 would have the replacement Robinson card.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
