Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the scatter-numbered "Game Dated Memorable Moments" insert cards just the base cards? I don't see anything different about these, and I don't remember a separate set for these (I'm trying to remember 20 years ago).

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

That insert SHOULD be there. UD made a parallel of the Game Dated subset cards. They are all-foil fronts and were pretty rare, something like 1 in a thousand packs. I wrote in to Beckett and Tuff Stuff when those came out asking the difference. Tuff Stuff actually printed my letter and a response explaining them.

Spaz is correct. They are etched foil, as like Black Diamond would have beginning the next year in the NBA.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards.

We were all just as confused back then, until we saw one. They did the same thing in their hockey set. IIRC, the card stock is also thicker on the parallel.
