Need to know if these are numbered correctly? I see no "M" on any of the card backs anywhere. Kind of bizzare the backs actually as they have the same three players on the back of three cards with 1, 2 or 3 (etc) and then different fronts. Never seen a set like this before. Need a guru's advice ............ C2C maybe, vrooomed by chance? =)

Look closer! In the red boxes on the backs of the cards, that is an 'M', not a '#' symbol. I say these are numbered correctly.

Billy's now a hockey guru!
Yep, these cards in this set had a black "peel here" label over the front that kept you frm knowing exactly who you had a card of. You could tell from the back that you had a 1 of 3 players. Only by peeling the front did you truly know which card you had.
I looked ta the first 6 cards, and they are all correct.

And Baseball. The one I have (1998) had the black film on the front AND the back. I tried not to pull the covers off, but I just couldn't stand not knowing. I'm glad I did pull them off though b/c the card immediately went into my St. Louis Cardinals collection. The back of the card was Jeff Bagwell of the Astros (who I also collected at the time) and the front was Mark McGwire. That was McGwire's first full season with the Cardinals, so I was happy to pull that. I didn't get it when the cards were released though. I bought a hobby box of them a few years ago and that was the second-best card in the box.
