Can anyone help me
out here, My
Ranford is not
SN150 on the back
of card, I have
found out that some
are. Is there two
versions of the
Dominion series or
are the non-SN
cards error cards?
The DB does not
list them as
separate parallels
and looking through
the checklist there
are both non SN
cards shown and SN
cards shown?! Any
info would be
greatly appreciated.

Another note, if
you take the time
to look over the
images available on
the checklist, all
cards are in red
(with or without a
SN) except for
Teemu Selanne's
card, his dominion
card is in
Gold !?!?! Is there
a reason for this
as well? Bizarre.

I don't know why, but I do know that not all the parallels are numbered. I don't know if they were replacements or not. I have one other Dominion series card, and it isn't numbered either. As for my golden Teemu (my scan), I never really compared it to others after I bought it, but now it makes me want the red one! I just feel like they are differences in the printing process - kinda like when some other cards have different colored lettering for no real reason. All of my Provincial parallels are numbered though.

~Aaron~ Please check "My Finnish Flash Collection" to see which cards I am looking for with my PC - willing to trade or buy anything I need. 2,164 unique Teemu cards....and counting (Last updated 22 March 2024) 827+ different Brett cards....and counting

Hey all another
question about this
set if anyone might
now anything.
Somebody just
recently added
another parallel
set for this
called "Players
Club". I had seen
some bits of info
about the players
club edition in a
couple of other
forums. Something
to the effect that
they were done by
someone other than
Donruss. They were
stamped with the
Player's Club foil
by an independent
company then re-
released in jumbo
packs or something
to that effect. Not
much info out there
so am curious if
the entire run will
have a Player's
Club or not. Has
anybody out there
have confirmation
that the full set
is available with
the Player's Club
foil on the back or
not? None of the
other forums seemed
to know either.

Here is a thread I
have found about
the Player's Club
version of the
Provincial
Parallel, if this
is the case should
they even be listed
here? A question
for Admin for sure.

Time for a refresh!! Recently a "Player's Club" Ranford appeared on eBay and I have been watching it, since it is my last day at home I thought I would do a bit of research on it. I contacted the seller and his initial reply was this " ..... they were never inserted in the packages, they were released in sheets." I have asked for more info but nothing as of yet. Why would somebody take the time to cut up "sheets" of unreleased cards and sell them individually? Seems like a red herring to me. I am adding the link for the forum I found about it again with what to me sounds as a much better answer. Still does not answer the oddities of this set in the least. But if the card is legit I would like to own it, just not sure that its worth the price if its no different than those other "stampped" cards that we have discussed in the past.

Apparently, the Dominions were not serial numbered but were print run 150. Time to locate the actual cards. ... No SN on it at all.

I've seen a lot of sets get cut-up from sheets over the years. Have considered doing it myself before, but in the end have never been able to bring myself to do it, yet...
Don't know what to tell you on these Players Club cards, just seems odd Donruss would have used that label being UD was using the same one for Collectors Choice parallels around that time. Being stamped on the back seems weird too. I can understand wanting to maybe track one down, but wouldn't throw more at it than what the unaltered card is worth, heck I'd say you should get a discount for it being damaged.

Just looked it up, they are tripping what they want for that. The font they used is extremely cheesy, and looks hand stamped.
