The regular set has no card colors listed in Note field, the Die-Cut versions do, which one is correct? The color signifies rarity but they are also SNed cards, would that not equal redundancy? Opinions ..... answers? =)

The Die-Cut version is just a parallel of the regular set - same colors but numbered differently.

Thanks for the reply sb8, what I was curious about is do the card's color attributes even need to be listed? If SN1000 = Gold then they both mean the same don't they? to me the SN would trump color reference.

Pretty much. Red/Blue/Gold are all numbered differently based on the color, so one could make the deduction that if it's SN1000 and it's gold, then all golds are SN1000.

I for one don't think we need colors in the Note field.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

According to the Glossary/Note document published over the Summer, SN would be used and color would not.

My question would be why is there a serial number and PR designator for this set? Cards are serial numbered

Trying to acquire one card for every for every set, insert, parralle, minor, euro, team issue, oddball etc sets produced for Hockey. Been an interesting project.

Because they took 250 of the cards and die-cut them. So a card with a SN1000 printed on it only has 750 copies with an actual SN on it, even though ##/1000 is printed on the card. So the actual Print Run (PR) for the card with a SN on it is 750 (PR750).
