The early part of the 20th-Century was marked by numerous baseball card set releases by both tobacco companies (T-series) and caramel companies (E-series).
Some of the heavy hitters from the caramel sets include 1903 Breisch-Williams (E-107), 1909 American Caramel (E--90), 1915 Cracker Jack (E-145), and 1922 American Caramel (E-120).
Some of the heavy hitters from the tobacco sets include 1909 American Tobacco (T-206), 1911 Gold Border (T-205), and 1912 Brown Background (T-207).
Due to the unpopularity of smoking these days, I'd probably have to admit more interest in the E-series sets rather than the T-Series sets. What are your preferences regarding these early 20th-Century classics? Why?
