1993 Classic '93 Hockey Draft Hockey Forum

Can anyone tell me why this is called what it is, I may have missed something but it appears to have no set name on the cards. A Beckett thing maybe?? Off to work ............. later.

That was what some companies were calling serial-numbered cards back then. And I looked, and this was a SNed set, so... It's probably what Classic called it when it was released.

I had never heard of that term either. Then again if it was something that came out of the late 1990s during the overproduced years I was "absent" from the hobby then it makes sense. My first thought was from the years sets of those "Crash the Game" inserts, game, sweepstakes cards. 

Next question .......... does Felix get the Toronto Maple Leafs or is it the St John's Maple Leafs? It shows the farm team on the front image but says both on the back. I say it should be the farm team. Just sayin. =)

St. John's. Just because he is in the Toronto system does not make him part of the Toronto team.
