Hey there gurus another batch of questions for you. I am gathering that the A,B,C,D,E,F listed with all of these is the grouping of each auto correct? F most likely being the easiest and A the hardest type of thing. Is this even neccesary? Unlike an SN or a PR I do believe this is more of a 1:1500 packs vs a 1:50 packs thing correct? We are not going that far are we? If so is it a Note2 thing as in Group A and so on? And then to make matters worse the only place I have seen a checklist is ............ yup you guessed it, the UD site (which has no letters) and Beckett which does (without any info). Your guidance is gladly accepted.

i think in one of the past post we discussed to include the odds on the SPs and such. I know where the info was available i've been including it in the gloassry for the football sets. i think it's good info for future reference especially if the site is going to be around for many years to come- but I'm good either way: keep or ditch

I've been entering that data in the baseball sets and I've been finding the odds through various sources, but mostly through Beckett. Their online price guide actually contains all the info the magazines have, and more. If you do not subscribe to the price guide the only info missing - are prices. All the other info is still readily available. For that, they are a great resource.

Ok so then where is the proper spot Note or Note2, I would suspect Note2 would be better but I could be dead wrong.

The A, B, C have been in Note1 - that's the only spot that a description can be centralized. Otherwise, we'd have to put the odds in the Note2 field of EACH card. No thanks. Let A, B, C be in Note, and then in the glossary description, we can list the odds for group A, B, etc.

Ok so now here is another question, UD uses the term Group A, etc multiple times through the entire set. I do believe it is six times for Group A alone. So whoever has done the checklists has used multiple letters to combat this I assume. The glossary goes from A through to R and I am guessing he has done this as a way to have all the groups listed yet never ever bothered to do the legwork. I have the odds listings bookmarked and there are 23 different "Groups" listed for all of the autograph parallels. I have no idea where he got this line of thinking from but I am guessing one of two ways, outside source or his own idea. Is this common practice? Not sure how to correct this or just leave it for somebody else.

Wow - I just looked at the set and the Glossary, and that's a complete mess. I looked at the Beckett page, and it seems that the lettering you see here is just follow over from there. There is some incomplete info in the "Header Lines" section, which if anyone has a Beckett from after when that set was released, that info should appear in Beckett. The closer to the actual release time, the better (they do tend to start dropping info as sets age). I don't have a new Hockey Beckett (newest I have is from like 2002). Most of the info can be found on Beckett online.

Actually, and this is rare, I'm going to side with Beckett's crazy lettering scheme because when you have so many "Group A's" that they all mean different odds, it's better to make a Group F that shows that the odds for that group is different from Group A. Looks like using the two sites' worth of info, we could patch together the glossary for this insert set.
