1887 Buchner Gold Coin (N284) Baseball Forum

I corrected two team naming discrepancies on the 1887 Buchner Gold Coin set that are not yet complete, and could use some help.

1.  The Brooklyn ballclub in 1887 was still called the "Grays", and had not changed their name to the "Bridegrooms" yet.  I made this correction on the 4 cards it affected, but now there's no link.  Does a new team have to be created for the Brooklyn Grays or can we link the entire franchise from the 1884 Brooklyn Atlantics-Grays-Bridegrooms-Grooms-Bridegrooms-Superbas-Robins-Dodgers?  What is the most efficient way?

2.  Somewhat similar to above, the link was lost on the Pittsburgh Alleghenys when I added the "s".  They were not the Pittsburgh Allegheny; they were the Alleghenys.

I think Admin is the only one who can create a TID

Also, until 1911 the official spelling of the city was "Pittsburg". This is reflected on the cards.
