1977 TCMA Asheville Tourists Baseball Forum

All of these team sets (that I've looked at) are listed individually with pretend numbers in their alphabetical checklists. I picked Asheville because if you go to COMC and go to 1977 TCMA Minor League and sort by card numbers you can see the correct card numbers and the set actually starts with Asheville. You can even turn the image over and zoom and see the real card numbers on the backs.

They aren't numbered 1-XX in neat little team sets.They create one large set with real sequential numbers that were issued in team sets (kind of like Star Basketball or Procards CBA).

I would think that even if they aren't listed as a single set they should at least have the correct card numbers in their checklists. Dennis Doyle'is number is really card #2 (0002 to be precise) but on the database he is number 4 because Doyle comes 4th alphabetically. There are othe TCMA years like this too.

I noticed that too as i have alot of tcma from 1978-1986.. I have many duplicates and alot of sealed packs.

Best thing to do is to sendAdmin the correct sequence of numbers. They can then change it.

I didn't bother admin, I just started changing them on my own but then I got distracted by family and work and got completely derailed. By the time you compile all of the changes and send to admin you may as well just do it yourself. I can't imagine how hard it is being admin.

I noticed this with a few other of the TCMA sets. I forget which year(s). I fixed them as I found them. But since most of the scans here are very pale, I had to use COMC quite a bit to figure out the proper card number. After they are fixed, they need to be re-sorted. That requires an inaccurracy report.

Yeah, that's the biggest problem I have.  I've fixed a few sets and reading those little numbers on the poor scans is difficult.
