Does anyone here think that the sellers on "e-bay" misuse the terms error or variation

Yes, along with "rare", "scarce", "mint", "like new", "near mint", "hard to find"....

 Yes, and let's not forget "vintage".

The one term that has been used for years that really irks me:

"LQQK"

Kills me.

In my collection;

ERROR CARD: Cards with wrong pics, DOB etc. Missing names, positions, teams etc. Reverse images etc. A very obvious mistake. In most cases listed as ERR / COR in guides

exs. 1990 Pro Set FB , 1988 Score BB

VARIATION CARD: Cards with errant smudges, lines etc. Slight to clearcut coloration differences. In most cases not IDed in any guide.

lol that along with the term "rare" --- just because SN25 doesn't make it rare.. that should be something like coming across a Honus Wagner in good to great condidtion .. lol
