Can anyone confirm that the card numbers on the 2014 Topps MLS Chrome Autographs, and the parallels of the autographs, are formatted correctly? In the database, they are checklisted as MA-AB, etc. But I have one of Felipe Martins, and the card number is 66. It's a gold refractor, serial numbers /50 like the database says it should be.
When I check ebay, the only cards I see with scans of backs show a standard number like my 66. I see some that mention MA-AB card numbers in the auction title, but none of those appear to have scans of the card backs. Do any of these really have a MA-AB card number, of did somebody use incorrect pre-release info when adding the checklist? (Cardboard Connection has the MA-AB card numbers) There are currently NO scans of any autographs, regular or parallel, in our database.
To give more information on my card, the picture of Martins is the same picture as his base, un-signed card. And card number 66 is his card number in the base set too. I will scan mine in, once I know where to put it.
I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
