Washington Senators (1912), played in the short-lived United States Baseball League
Washington Senators (1901–60), now the Minnesota Twins

True. But all the different Washington Senator cards are grouped as one team, instead of 4 separate, distinct, and unassociated teams. They just happen to share the same name but are not the same team. The database has the same problem with the Baltimore Orioles, Ottawa Senators (NHL), and many other teams that shared names but not history.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

What links do you do to find number of sets you have compared to how many exsist? Also, how what link do you use to see how many players you have compared to how many players have an exsisting card?

The Washington Senators called themselves Washington Nationals during periods of those times too. Look at 1955 Topps for one. I would include Washington Nationals (2005-Present) in that grouping too. When they came out, George Bush got permission from the Texas Rangers to use the curly W symbol for the Nats. If you're a fan going to games in 1960, 1961, or 2017, it all the same team. Well, at least for me going to games at RFK/Nationals Park 2007-2014. The 1924, 1925, and 1933 banners are displayed prominently at Nationals Park today.
