I love those Suspended Animation cards. I have most of them from the 1994 Marvel Universe set, unfortunately they are starting to turn yellow. they looked so cool when new though. The Outburst set was great too. That was the last non-sport set I remember opening before I went sports only from 1997ish to 2009. (something I now regret)

There are some great modern superhero sets as well, and I'm having a blast collecting again after that part of the hobby went under for a few years.

Very true. I just got a promo for a new one in the mail yesterday (DC Comics Bombshells)

Cool looking cards. I'm not into comics (or their cards) at all, but I can appreciate good artwork when I see it.

This is a great list idea. I think I might do the same thing myself this year.  Also some really cool looking sets in your list. Superman looks a little like John Travolta though.
