Cards I got for Christmas 2014by Billy Kingsley - 235 cards (Last updated on Jan 1, 2015) |
2. 2012 Press Pass Fanfare - Autographs Gold #FF-PH Paulie Harraka
Paulie Harraka became the first driver to run a Cup race as a graduate of the Drive for Diversity program when he ran at Sears Point in 2014. This is my first card of him. SN30/99. |
3. 2014 Press Pass Total Memorabilia - Rising Stars Autographed Memorabilia Gold #RSA-DS Daniel Suarez
This is only my 3rd autographed relic in NASCAR. He's supposed to be the "Next big thing". |
4. 2014-15 Panini Prestige Premium - Bonus Shots Autographs #11 Arnett Moultrie
The Prestige Premium box has 4 mini-boxes inside, and each has an autograph in it. These are posted in order of my pulling them. Moultrie has since been kicked out of the League for taking performance enhancing drugs. (Not like it helped- the Sixers have scored a grand total of 22 wins over the past two years) |
5. 2014-15 Panini Prestige Premium - Old School Signatures #57 George McGinnis
Always good to get a Legend. This photo is from either 1980-81 or 1981-82, his last two years in the League. |
6. 2014-15 Panini Prestige Premium - Stars of the NBA #20 Tim Hardaway
I remember watching him play live, although with the Heat, he had been traded there only a short time before I discovered the NBA. |
7. 2014-15 Panini Prestige Premium - Prestigious Premieres #PP-GR Glenn Robinson III
My first card of Glenn Robinson III is also an autograph. That doesn't happen too often! The first jersey I ever bought (to wear, not a jersey card) was his father's road Bucks jersey, back in late 1996. |
8. 2012 Press Pass Fanfare - Magnificent Materials Silver #MM-DA Dakoda Armstrong
This was my first card of Dakoda Armstrong, but the third I posted to the Database. The shoe piece is so thick the card is noticeably bending because of it. And Press Pass uses extra thick cards for relics in the first place. I've got more than 500 relics in my collection and this is by far the thickest. I pulled this from the 6th and final Blaster Box I got for Christmas. |
9. 2006-07 Upper Deck Ovation - Apparel #OA-JM Jeff McInnis
I got this one from one of those cubes you can find at Target, with one pack of college cards, one relic and one assorted. Oddly enough, the last two cubes I got both had a relic from Jeff McInnis. This one turned out to be my first card from 2006-07 Ovation, making it the only new set to enter my collection. (I view this as a bonus- the cube itself is the main reason to buy those cubes!) |
10. 2012 Press Pass Fanfare - Magnificent Materials Gold #MM-JB4 Jeb Burton
When I made my chart of people not in my collection and gave it to my family, 2nd generation driver Jeb Burton was on that list. By time Christmas actually got here, this turned out to be my 3rd card of him. |
11. 2012 Press Pass Legends - Pieces of History Memorabilia Silver #POH-RR Ricky Rudd
Pulled this from a blaster box. That makes it the first patch I've pulled from retail ever! |

Wow, is your family looking to adopt? ..... How GREAT, they really know the kind of cards you collect, not just any cards, but NASCAR Basketball, Etc. Congrats Billy, nice gifts there. (Me and my new cat blanket are envious)

Nice cards. I didn't know Jordan Clarkson had any cards, I'll have to look for them.

I really did luck out on the family deal, didn't I? :) I'm sure a warm cat is a happy cat, right? LOL!
I'm sure he will be getting more eventually. He actually made the team so he might get some actual in uniform cards. Of course with Panini you never know.

I like those Panini Prestige cards, I have started collecting those. It is hard to find basketball cards here in Canada, I usually order them online from the US but found them when I was in Target recently. Thank god for Target.

Most of mine come from Target too. My local card shop does boxes only unfortunately. I think this year's three Prestige sets are all Target exclusive, as well.
