Cards I got for Christmas 2014

My family knows that for any gift giving occasion, cards are the gift to give me. They never disappoint, and 2014 was no exception. I got 243 new cards for Christmas 2014, with the biggest surprise being a box of 2014-15 Prestige Premier, a box I never thought I would ever do. I plan to get them all posted here to this List.

I got a blaster box of 2012-13 Panini, one of my favorite releases Panini has done for the NBA. I had previously done a hobby box so I was quite happy to get 17 new base cards from the set. This was the first I got.

Already out of the NBA, which may be a record for shortest career for a pick that high. I don't remember. He went back to Europe.

This was the last NBA card I got on Christmas, and I was prepared to say the most recent to enter my collection at the time of the list's creation, but two more cards arrived to me in the mail today (12/30/14)- from Korea, no less!

He is still in the NBA although you wouldn't know it by looking at his card listing, he hasn't gotten any representation from Panini since 2012-13.

Still surprising to me that he was not able to get an NBA contract for this year, he's playing in Europe as well. He's a decent player when he gets on the court.

Wow, is your family looking to adopt? ..... How GREAT, they really know the kind of cards you collect, not just any cards, but NASCAR Basketball, Etc. Congrats Billy, nice gifts there. (Me and my new cat blanket are envious)

I really did luck out on the family deal, didn't I? :) I'm sure a warm cat is a happy cat, right? LOL! I'm sure he will be getting more eventually. He actually made the team so he might get some actual in uniform cards. Of course with Panini you never know.

I like those Panini Prestige cards, I have started collecting those. It is hard to find basketball cards here in Canada, I usually order them online from the US but found them when I was in Target recently. Thank god for Target.

Most of mine come from Target too. My local card shop does boxes only unfortunately. I think this year's three Prestige sets are all Target exclusive, as well.
