After 50 years of collecting, I am getting rid of my baseball and basketball collections. I am really an avid collector of Fresno State football...Davante Adams, David Carr (not Derek), Bernard Berrian, Jake Haener, Jalen Cropper, Ryan Mathews, Tom Brandstater, Henry Ellard (not FSU but still from Fresno), Devon Wylie, Seyi Ajirotutu, Josh Harper, Paul Williams and Phillip Thomas. There are others that I find from time to time as well. At the moment (February 2024) I am focusing on Carr, Adams and Haener. If I have to, I will consider a limited-edition Paul George or Aaron Judge card.
Although I have been on TCDB for a few years, I have only recently started posting my collection and figuring out what I need. I have 2800 unique Jerry Rice cards that I will get to at some time. I have dozens of autographs, 1/1's and a lot of the oddball (*, ** A*, B*, etc.) stuff as well. I gave the complete variation list to Beckett back in 1997 and I'm happy to see that TCDB has listed the varieties. I quit collecting Rice when Panini started bastardizing the hobby and cards got astronomically expensive. I'm hoping that Fanatics/Topps won't do the same. I also have a lot of Stephen Curry that I will list eventually and a bit of nice Kobe Bryant.
I would love to trade, but if you don't have something on my want list, and I realize it is pretty small right now, it is going to take an item that I can readily sell on eBay. I am always willing to sell cards since I have been doing so on eBay for 22 years. I have had success selling cards on COMC, but only under $20. I If you offer something in trade. please mention any issues with the card. I may still take it, but if you don't mention it and its damaged, I will raise hell. I am notorious for giving negative feedback on eBay to sellers who just want to unload damaged cards!
