- John D'Acquisto was named to the 1974 Topps All-Star Rookie Team but his #372 card is missing the trophy designation.
- Card #120 of Steve Busby shows Fran Healy.
Card #626 does not show Larry Haney, but Dave Duncan instead. - In 1975, Topps released a smaller version of it's base set in the midwest an west coast. 'Minis' are card-for-card reproductions but measure 2 1/4" by 3 1/8".
- Reggie Jackson #300 should have an all star designation on it, as he was a starter.
- #407 Herb Washington is listed as a "pinch runner" since he was strictly used for pinch running and never had a plate appearance in his two-year career. No other player with at least one baseball card has had "Pinch Runner" listed as his position.
