This has to be one of my favorite cards, photo-wise. I like the card in general, but it's a very peculiar choice for for the player because he's at the very bottom, but it could be easily for the other three Falcons on top of him. I guess the editors couldn't resist the aesthetics.

Simple deduction to figure out it's Flip Johnson on the front. The defenseman is Tampa Bay #55, name ending in "ING". #55 was worn by Henry Rolling from 1988 thru 1989. Then it wasn't worn again until 1992 by Darrick Brownlow. Flip Johnson was only with Buffalo in 1988 and 1989 and wore #80. So the picture can only be from 1988 or 1989. James Lofton joined Buffalo in 1989 but wore #86. He didn't start wearing #80 until 1990. But in 1990 #55 was not in use by Tampa Bay.

Beckett incorrectly lists this as a UER stating Braxton went to North Dakota State instead of South Dakota, but the back of the card doesn't have any references to South Dakota.
